With over 340 guests in attendance, amazing event sponsors and influential speakers from across the leisure industry, Competitive Socialising 2020 was a huge success for Home Leisure Direct in bringing together operators and suppliers from across the Competitive Socialising spectrum.
Hosted at Sway in London, the event included specially commissioned analyses of the ways competitive socialising is set to transform the hospitality industry. Expert panel discussions delved even further into the new opportunities that operators are exploring in competitive socialising, as well as the transformative effects this can have on wet and food sales.
The day was also packed with exclusive product launches including Golden Tee, Speedball, BeerPong Pro, Bowlabowl and Nice Cold Beer which are now available to pubs and bars across the UK.
Andy Beresford, owner and CEO of Home Leisure Direct, hosted presentations throughout the day and explained afterwards:
“Competitive Socialising 2020… what a day it was! Sway Bar in London provided the perfect venue and we had an incredible turnout of over 340 people who enjoyed superb food and drinks, plus loads of fun and games. Thanks to RSM, Incite and BII for their partnership, and of course to all of our amazing sponsors and speakers. Huge appreciation to Jade Craig for organising everything, and of course to everyone who attended! Lastly, massive thanks to our amazing team for all their incredible efforts!”
Golden Tee was exclusively launched back onto the UK market at the event, bringing the world’s premier golf simulator back with massively improved graphics, courses and gameplay. Thankfully, Home Leisure Direct staff are obsessed with this amazing game and were delighted to show guests the new features of Golden Tee 2020.
The venue at the Sway Bar in London was perfect for #CS2020. Arranged over two floors, Sway’s theatre-style auditorium hosted the incredible speakers, before guests explored a lower floor packed with unique games, including Jack Daniels pool tables that are available exclusively from Home Leisure Direct.
Stern’s latest pinball machines, including Jurassic Park and Netflix Stranger Things, were amazingly popular, as was the brand new Speedball (see below) the latest innovation concept table game. Guests were treated to hours of Serious Fun!
Free drinks and food kept everyone’s spirits up long into the evening, fuelling fierce competition on some of the games! With brands showcasing their own new products and offering free tasting, there were all of the ingredients for a great night.
David Bloy (not in picture) from BlueBox Software said:
“It was a great event - well done - And we're delighted to have played a part in your exciting new venture - providing the custom contract management and billing software that sits behind your patented contactless payment pool table.”
Competitive Socialising 2020 sold out rapidly and welcomed 340 delegates from some of the most prestigious brands in the leisure and hospitality sector. With attendees travelling from all corners of the UK and even the USA, tickets were snapped up weeks before the day. Naturally, thoughts are now turning towards an even bigger and better Competitive Socialising 2021.
Competitive Socialising 2020 benefited from amazing partners in RSM, Incite and BII. The list of sponsors was also incredible, meaning that Home Leisure Direct are already planning for #CS2021.
