Home Leisure Direct is proud to support Judd Trump with his recent venture across the pond to try his cue skills out on the pool table in the US Open. We had some great fun with Judd whilst he practiced on our pool tables and conversation got onto supporting a charity close to both of our hearts, Jessie May: Children's Hospice at Home.
Judd signed his Matchroom US Open T-shirt and Britannia Sabre Snooker Cue to put into an auction to raise money for Jessie May.
Started by a family, for families, and now shaped by families
The specialist Jessie May nurses provide at-home nursing and respite care for children and young people that have a terminal or life-limiting condition throughout the South West. Jessie May have been providing free specialist at home support since 1996, and it is only through the generosity of their supporters that they can continue to be there for families for many years to come.
The Jessie May Trust was established by parents Chris and Philippa Purrington following the death of their baby daughter, Jessica May, in September 1994. Jessica sadly died from a genetic condition known as severe Spinal Muscular Atrophy when she was only 4 ½ months old. Jessica was admitted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol. Following this, her parents felt they wanted to do more to support other families with severely ill children in the Bristol area.
Over the last 25 years the charity has supported over 300 children and their families across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Bath & North East Somerset, and Swindon & Wiltshire.

This Britannia Sabre Snooker Cue signed by Judd Trump would make a great collector's item for any Snooker fan. This cue has been lightly used but is otherwise in great condition.
Worth over £200 new (without Judd Trump's signature).
This full-size cue is made from top-grade ash, selected to the absolute highest standard. Perfect splicing techniques are used to combine the blackest and densest Gabon ebony with aviation-grade high tensile machining grade stainless steel, used in the joint and ferrule, for strength and durability.
The Sabre cue features 12 hand splices of Gabon ebony, Laos burr and maple. This beautiful cue is part of a stunning range with a playing performance and quality to match their looks.
