Home Leisure Direct is thrilled to be the recipient of the 2019 Direct Commerce award for the bestgift and home entertainment brand in the UK.

Our awards success continue with this fantastic addition, and it's always a great honour to be chosen. We were on hand amongst other company giants such as Screwfix and Virgin Experience Days.

Our first award of 2019, and we have once again been acknowledged for our high standard of customer service by customer-review service, Feefo.

The Feefo Gold Trusted Award recognises businesses for delivering exceptional customer service, and is one of our proudest accolades year after year, because it's awarded by you - our customers!

Our third award of 2018, we are ecstatic to announce that we've won Best Leisure, Fitness and Outdoors eCommerce at the Ecommerce Awards 2018! 

Roger and Ted were in attendance at the ceremony held in London, hosted by celebrity magician Ben Hanlin. Ben had the entire audience spellbound for what was another fun night celebrating the best in eCommerce!

We are delighted to announce that we have won our second award of 2018, we've won Best Gifts, Gadgets, Hobbies and Home Entertainment at the ECMOD 2018 Awards.
 

Even with a slew of other awards under our belts, it's always a great honour to be chosen for such a prestigious award. The competition was tough, with some of the other finalists being businesses such as Virgin Experience Days and the National Trust. 

The first award we've received in 2018 is the Feefo Gold Trusted Merchant Award! This means that we have achieved an overall service rating of over 95% satisfaction for the last year from our customers, which is a great commemoration to the hard work that all of our team do every day. 

We're very grateful to all of our customers that took the time to leave a review for our services and product over the past year, and for leaving such positive feedback. Without this, we wouldn't have achieved such a great award. 

We were thrilled to learn that we had won another award, the third one so far in 2017! 

We were finalists amongst some other fantastic names such as Weird Fish and Virgin Experience Days, so were are very proud to have won Best Gifts, Gadgets, Hobbies & Home Entertainment. 

Matt Barbett presented the awards and kept the crowd entertained throughout the night. We'd like to congratulate all of the other winners and finalists from the event.

We're delighted to have yet again won the award for Best Online Business from the Federation of Small Businesses, for the South West Region.

This means we have now won this award for the last three years, making it a most incredible hat-trick of wins for our company.

Many congratulations to all our team for their hard work and commitment to continuing to innovate and develop our online presence, improving our customer's experience on our market leading website across all platforms.

We won not one, but two awards at the eCommerce 2016 Awards for Best Website and Best Home and Garden. Andy and Michelle, Home Leisure Direct Founders, attended the prestigious event, along with our web developers Bluebox.

It was an incredible achievement, to win these two awards alongside such names as Amazon, Jack Daniel's, HMV, Currys PC World, Karen Millen and Chalotte Tilbury.

Rob Beckett, comedian, presented the awards so he kept everyone laughing all night. 

Early this year we were announced as finalists for the Federation of Small Business Awards where we were again named Online Business of the Year. Andy and Michelle, founders of Home Leisure Direct, attended the awards ceremony.

The award was presented by Apprentice winner Tim Campbell, who proved to be a compelling and enthusastic speaker on the night. To win this award for two years running was an exceptional achievement, especially when we were up against over 1,000 entries.

Another Best Website award came our way at the prestigious ECMOD Direct Commerce Awards. We were up against a huge number of specialist online businesses, including House of Fraser. Bonmarche, Lovehoney, and Weird Fish.

Andy and Ben attended the event in London. Sky News legend Dermot Murnaghan again presented the award, he looks almost more pleased than we did.

 
 In 2015 we won another eCommerce Award in the Best Leisure, Entertainment and Sport category, managing to pip global super-brand Red Bull to the post in the process. We were thrilled when it was announced, another great success for our team here at Home Leisure Direct.

Comedian, writer and actor (amongst many other talents ) Danny Wallace presented the award, and kept us well entertained all night, asking all the winners to pose for a "normal" photo, and then less conventional one, which you can enjoy below...

2015 - ECMOD Awards: Best Gifts, Gadgets, Hobbies, Home Entertainment

We were up against some tough competition for this award including House of Fraser and Seasalt, so we were over the moon when we were announced as the winners of this award! 

Dermot Murnaghan, from Sky News, again kept proceedings under control as well as announcing the winners. He managed to raise a glowing smile despite suffering an uncomfortably long hug from Roger.

2014 - eCommerce Awards: Best Leisure, Entertainment & Sport and Small eCommerce Retailer of the Year

This year was a double success for our team, they spent the day at the eCommerce Expo keeping up with the latest industry advances then attended the black tie event in the evening. 

Alistair McGowan officiated, delivering an excellent piece of stand-up beforehand. We were over the moon to pick up two awards on the night, particularly when amongst so many well known names, such as Lloyds Bank, Cath Kidston, Coast, Oasis, Heineken, Argos, Thomas Cook, Waitrose and Toys R Us.

2014 - FSB Awards: Best Online Business of the Year

We were stunned to win the Federation of Small Business Online Business of the Year. We knew we were up against a huge number of entries from the countries' best small businesses, but didn't expect there to be as many as 900!

Innocent Drinks founder Richard Reed was speaking as well as presenting the awards. He spoke well and was enthusiastically received by everyone attending. Our co-founders Michelle and Andy collected the award.

2014 - ECMOD Awards: Best Website

Having won the Reader's Choice award the previous year we were desperate to follow up with another win. We had worked hard to add significant improvements to our website and felt we stood a great chance.

Roger and Andy were delighted to collect the Best Website from Dermot Murnaghan, Sky News broadcaster. Other winners included Charles Tyrwhitt, House of Bath and jewellers F. Hinds.

2013 - ECMOD Awards: Reader’s Choice Award

This was our very first award here at Home Leisure Direct and was very well received by our fantastic team who all travelled up to London to attend the event. The award recognised how hard the team had worked since Home Leisure Direct was founded in 2007.
