Gareth Potts: So this shot is playing with reverse side. Now as you can
see, that's straight on the rail. I want to now get in position
to get to the back ball. To get there, I've got to play with
extreme ball to the right hand side. Now a lot of people would
think that the cue ball would come back, hit the cushion and
spin off this way. I would have to play with ball to the left
hand side. The reason this is called reverse side is because
you actually play with the reverse side. It then creates the
spin to get you closer to the back. So we're just going to go
through this shot again with reverse side. I'm just going to
show you exactly where on the cue ball that I'm going to be
striking. And it's roughly there, about five o'clock, back in a
straight line.
