How it works
The Batfast simulator system consists of:
- Projector screen made of impact-resistant archery netting and 700gsm PVC backing
- Projector stand and casing
- Balls & ball feeder (48 ball capacity)
- Animated gameplay
- Leaderboard system
- Back end system including reception controls and usage reports
Batfast's unique software integrates with a HD quality video projection system. The video projects a pitcher/server onto a specially designed screen, with a ball throwing machine precisely placed behind in line with an aperture to fire a real ball through!
The customer registers their details for a personalised experience and chooses their speed level. Once inside the cage, a virtual pitcher throws them a ball and the customer whacks the ball with a bat.
Immersive and interactive targets light up when hit and relay a score back to the system. Players can either compete on their own or in social groups in a round robin format, each gaining a score and being placed onto their session and worldwide leaderboard.
The standard cage dimensions are 10.5m X 4.5m X 2.7m (LWH) but can be customised for an extra cost.
Access to an IT network is preferred to enable remote issue fixes and software updates but is not essential for operation.
The user interface
The user interface is multi-generational, whether you’re 4, or 94, BatFast tech makes it easy and simple to play and encourages you to improve your skills in the cage!

Step up to the plate or service line to take on your sporting heroes! Score points on BatFasts round robin game modes and compete against your friends for the top spot!
Whether you want to play all sports or just one BatFast’s interactive tech makes it easy for everyone to enjoy.
The back-end system
The back end system is hidden behind a projector screen door to protect the equipment and also conceal the magic of the experience. This can be easily accessed by staff members when they need to return balls to the hopper or turn the machines on/off.
Session Management (bookings system)
BatFast’s software has the ability to integrate with App or Web booking platforms. Sessions can also be booked on site at reception and can also easily be amended at the touch of a button.
