The Oxford is an English pool table using 2” red and yellow balls as standard, with a one piece slate bed, available in 6ft and 7ft sizes.
Through our experience of selling pool tables over many years, we’ve had a lot of questions and feedback from customers on the features they’re looking for. Having taken this feedback on board, we’ve created the Signature range of tables, which caters to all needs and desires to create a range of pool tables that are simply the best on the market.

What makes the Oxford Pool Table special?
- Chrome Corner Caps - Some pool tables come with plastic corners which diminish the quality of the table in comparison. This table comes with metal corners which protect the table and make it look stunning.
- High-Quality Laminate Finish - The laminate finish on some pool tables does not wrap around the outer edge of the cushion rail, instead leaving a bare MDF finish on the underside. The Oxford Pool Dining Table uses a high-quality laminate finish to go around the entire surface of the cushion rail, improving the aesthetics and build quality of the table.
- Chrome Finish Feet - Most tables at this price come with black plastic feet. We’ve added chrome finish feet to this model to improve its looks.
- Metal Dowel Connectors on Dining Top - The dining tops on some pool tables simply sit on the pool table cushion rail with nothing to join them together. The Oxford Pool Dining Table’s dining tops are fitted with 5 metal dowels which join the tops together and prevent them from separating during use.
- Competition Grade Cushion Rubber and Cloth - We fit this model with high-grade competition rubber and pool cloth which is made in the UK to the highest standard, so that when you’re playing on your home table you get the same experience that you would from a competition model.
Only the finest raw materials are used in the construction of the Oxford Pool Dining Table. They are manufactured in England by skilled craftsmen to the same exacting high specifications as demanded for our commercial pool tables. The cabinet is an MDF construction with a laminate finish, which is available in an excellent range of different colours. These tables are beautifully finished, with chrome top frame corners.
The Oxford pool diner has a 19mm ground slate bed, to provide the optimum playing experience. The slate is covered in high quality Hainsworth cloth, which is 100% wool. You can choose from a range of standard colours, and also have the option of specifying a cloth from the vast range of colours available in the Smart cloth range.
The table comes with a matching two piece dining top, which aligns using metal dowels. It has an internal ball return system, allowing the balls to return to one end of the table once potted. The legs are modern and contemporary in style, and are made in solid timber, to match the table cabinet and dining top. They have chrome feet, which are adjustable to enable easy leveling of the table.
The Oxford pool dining table is an exceptionally popular choice due to its simple yet stylish design. The distance from the floor to the underside of the cabinet is 58cm, depending upon the adjustment of the feet. This will allow the use of most normal height dining chairs.
The distance from the floor to the table surface can be as low as 77cm, again depending upon the feet adjustment. This is around the normal dining table height.

Choosing Your Cloth
We offer a broad range of different cloths that can be fitted to your pool table, so we're confident that there will be a perfect match for your individual needs, but with so many choices it's easy to get bewildered by all the different terms and colours when looking at a glance. For a quick guide, please check out the above video for a rundown on all your available choices to learn everything you need.
When considering the colour choice of your cloth, do bear in mind that owing to the natural fibres of the wool, lighter shades of any napped cloth can occasionally have blemishes, or speckles. Hainsworth Match is the tournament cloth that delivers the professional playing experience. Tightly woven from the finest yarns, Match provides spectacular speed and cue ball control with high levels of durability.
The cloth of ACBS, Match Room Snooker, SPA, BAPTO, EUKPF, the World Pool Championships, French Grand National, British Open and many other tournaments, Hainsworth Match is the tournament cloth.
Strachan 861 & Superfine Cloth:
The Strachan 861 in Powder Blue is the official and exclusive cloth used for the International Pool Association tournaments. It's non-directional worsted meaning that this ensures a smooth and consistent play in all directions. As well as being a fast cloth, the 861 is also known for its durability. It's created to last.
Strachan Superfine cloths have been treated with SpillGuard™ to protect against stains and spills, making it the perfect fit for any games room or commercial venue. This cloth is a 100% wool napped cloth that offers players professional levels of speed, consistency and control. Use by the Supreme Series, English Pool Association (EPA), World Eightball Pool Federation (WEPF), International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF) and European Billiards and Snooker Association (EBSA).
Smart Cloth:
Hainsworth Smart cloth is hard-wearing and available in a fabulous range of 24 colours. It has a napped playing surface, giving excellent ball response and longevity. It's the slowest playing of all the cloths we offer, providing a longer wearing playing surface in a great choice of colours.
Hainsworth Elite Pro:
Similar to Simonis cloth the Hainsworth Elite Pro is most commonly fitted to American pool tables where a napless cloth is used. This type of cloth plays faster than a normal napped English Pool cloth. Its high-quality worsted weave provides long-lasting high speed play.
Jack Daniel's Pool Table Cloth:
Home Leisure Direct are proud to be the sole licensee for Jack Daniel's branded games room products for the UK and Europe. We have worked closely with Jack Daniel's to design a range of official merchandise which is true to the traditions of this iconic brand.
Jack Daniel's Cloth Types:
We will print your cloth and have it fitted by the manufacturer of your pool table. We can provide your Jack Daniel's cloth in either:
- Smart Cloth - designed for use on English pool tables, it has a napped playing surface, like the cloth used on a snooker table.
- Elite Pro - designed for use on American Pool tables, but can be fitted to English pool tables, it doesn't have a napped surface so plays faster than Smart cloth.
Jack Daniel's Logo Choices:
Jack Daniel's logo has steadily evolved over the course of time, with each design giving a different look but all with the iconic Tennessee Whiskey style in bold black and white.
- Bug Logo - The no-fuss design is the most simplistic of the three logos featuring the Jack Daniel's name and original circular "Old No.7 Brand" emblem.
- Label Logo - Go for the true Tennessee look with the iconic logo found on Jack Daniel's whiskey labels.
- Cartouche Logo - The "Old No.7" insignia is decorated with the ornate oval frame found on the label logo but with bold black surroundings showcasing the Jack Daniel's name.

Choice of Pool Balls:
The Signature Tournament Pro pool table is supplied with Aramith Reds and Yellows balls as standard free of charge:
Aramith Reds and Yellows - as used in many tournaments, 2" size reds and yellows, with regulation size 1 7/8" size cue ball.
You may also wish to add an extra set of balls to your order, at a reduced price when bought at the same time. Make your choice from the selection below:
Super Aramith Pro Cup Reds and Yellows - every ball is crafted precisely so that each ball weighs within 1 gram of each other. Supplied with a spotted 1" cue ball. This ball set is the choice for the majority of English Pool competitions.
Standard Blues and Yellows - often chosen when playing on a red coloured cloth, 2" size blues and yellows, with regulation size 1 7/8" size cue ball.
Standard Spots and Stripes - supplied numbered from 1 to 15, allowing you to play either 8 Ball or 9 Ball pool using the same set of balls. 2" size spots and stripes, with regulation size 1 7/8" size cue ball.
Aramith Blues and Yellows - tournament grade balls, supplied in Blue and Yellow to show up better on red cloth. 2" size Blues and Yellows, with regulation size 1 7/8" size cue ball.
Swift Table Tennis Top:
Get two games in one today, with a Swift Table Tennis Top that can sit directly on top of your new Signature Tournament Pro Pool Table. The top comes in two halves to make it easier to set up and store, and has a padded underside with soft foam in order to protect the table surface it rests upon. Learn more here.

This product comes backed by a 12-month manufacturer's guarantee. This covers any manufacturing defects to the table, and top if supplied.
Please note that if used in a commercial environment, we offer a 30-day warranty on this product.

We keep a range of pool tables in stock which are available for delivery within 1 - 3 weeks, depending on your location. Please call our Sales Team on 0808 239 4557 and we can advise on what models, finish and cloth options we have available for you.
If you wish to place an order online to your chosen specifications, the sales team will be in touch within the next 48 hours to confirm your order and to discuss delivery access and lead times. Once the order has been placed we will either match your order to an in-stock table, or a table arriving on a future batch. If we are unable to match your requirements to a stock table, we can have the table made to order for you. The latest production lead time for a bespoke made-to-order Signature Oxford is 12-14 weeks. Once the table arrives in our Dispatch Warehouse, the Delivery Team will be in touch to arrange a date with you.

Delivery is free to most locations within mainland UK.
However for locations further north than Glasgow there may be an additional charge depending upon your exact location. Please call our friendly customer service team on 0800 622 6464 for a quote.
We can also deliver to Northern Ireland and Eire at very reasonable rates; please select this from the delivery options. Delivery will be made by a courier to the kerbside at the address that you provide us. They do not offer any service for taking the product into your property or to install the item.
Delivery will be made to the ground floor room of your choice, provided we can park our delivery van near to your property, have easy access and no steps or steep slopes to negotiate. You will need to complete installation yourself, which will require two strong people to undertake, unless you select our Professional Installation service.
Assembly:
The pool table is supplied in 3 main parts: the cabinet, the slate and the legs. The legs bolt onto the cabinet. Once in place you can then place the slate inside the table, and then clip down the frame to secure. The slate and cabinet are extremely heavy, so if you opt to install the table yourself you will again need two strong people to carry it to your chosen location and assemble the table. Please note assembling a table correctly is a specialist job. If you are in doubt as to whether you will be able to complete the job satisfactorily yourself we recommend you have your new table professionally installed.

Professional Installation:
Many people prefer to have the table installed for them, to save potential damage to their table, their property, and more importantly themselves. If you select this option then the table will be professionally handled by one of our fully insured specialist two man delivery teams. It will be placed in a ground floor room of your choice, and all packaging removed.
Our team will professionally level the table and show you how to do so yourself, as this is something you will need to do throughout the life of your pool table. They have years of experience and will be able to answer any questions about the care and use of your table to ensure you get the very best from your new purchase. You will be left with a perfectly installed table, ready to play the first frame of many.
Please Note: We use dedicated two man teams to complete all of our installations, so you don't have to lift a finger. We are fully insured, just in case any accidents happen. Our installation teams just install pool and snooker tables, nothing else. This shows in the high quality of the work we do. Your complete satisfaction is guaranteed.
Upstairs, downstairs, and other hard to reach locations:
It is possible to deliver and install the table to a location with difficult access - loft conversions, basements, upstairs, downstairs, up and down steep slopes etc - but this will be at an extra cost.
