The cradle on the Grand Hudson Deluxe is constructed from solid poplar and hard-rock maple hardwoods and finished with your choice of stain(s), and each corner on the horsecollar is milled from a single piece of solid wood. The 3” thick playing surface is constructed from select kiln-dried hard-rock maple and topped with a tournament-standard clear polymer finish.

The playing surface:
features finger-jointed boards; far superior to butt-joints as seen on other tables.
has the only planks on the market that are reinforced with maple inlays on the bottom, particularly at the location of each climatic adjuster.
has a true 90-degree edge (not beveled) along the rails, allowing weights to hang off the rail instead of falling.

Maintaining the Ideal Humidity:
Due to the nature of a shuffleboard's wooden construction it is important that the right humidity is maintained to ensure it plays perfectly and the playing surface doesn’t twist or warp. To maintain the right humidity for the optimum conditions for your shuffleboard we recommend the use of a humidifier - please see a photograph of the model we recommend for commercial environments, which covers an area of up to 100 square metres.
The hygrometer, also pictured, can be used to check the levels. Your shuffleboard should be kept between 35% and 55% humidity. We can advise on what would be required for your particular environment. Using a hygrometer to check the existing levels would be the first step, before investing in a humidifier if necessary.

To prepare your shuffleboard for a fresh application of wax or silicone spray, we offer a high-quality cleaning spray. These are sold in sets of 6 bottles (16oz each).
Polish/Wax:
For light repairs, this polish/wax easily restores a bright beautiful shine to your shuffleboard table, while polishing out most scratches, even on very worn finishes. These are sold in sets of 6 bottles (16oz each).

This table is part of our Warehouse Clearance sale, and is currently stored in our warehouse ready for dispatch. This means that we should be able to deliver it within 7 to 14 days depending upon location and customer availability.

Free Delivery and Installation (worth £800):
Your new shuffleboard will be professionally handled by one of our fully insured specialist two man delivery teams. It will be placed in a ground floor room of your choice, and all packaging removed.
Our team will professionally level the shuffleboard and show you how to do so yourself, as this is something you will need to do throughout the life of shuffleboard table. They have years of experience, and will be able to answer any questions about the care and use of your table to ensure you get the very best from your new purchase. You will be left with a perfectly installed shuffleboard, ready to play the first frame of many.

Upstairs, downstairs, and other hard to reach locations:
It is possible to deliver and install the shuffleboard to a location with difficult access - loft conversions, basements, upstairs, downstairs, up and down steep slopes etc - but this will be at an extra cost.
